About PLUTO protectora animales.

"We rescue abandoned, abused, and homeless Spanish cats and dogs"

National flag of Spain

Our history

Faced with the daily suffering of animals on the Costa Blanca region of Spain, 3 German ladies decided in 2007 to do something about it.

What started as a private initiative by foreigners became a registered Spanish charity in 2014 with members and volunteers from a number of European countries.

Today, PLUTO protectora animales has deep roots in the Costa Blanca communities of Benissa and Teulada-Moraira.
